Personally I think because the pedestals are made of plastic they would not be able to hold the weight especially if you were drying a load and washing a load at the same time. You may also find that the additional height off the floor added to the top unit opening might make removing clothes more difficult.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sure you could put a pedestal under the lower machine. It would make the upper machine (presumably the dryer) to be very high though. The washer would be at the normal height with a pedestal. If one is very, very tall this might be an okay idea.
