• I think that would be a question for LG. Personally I think because the pedestals are made of plastic they would not be able to hold the weight especially if you were drying a load and washing a load at the same time. You may also find that the additional height off the floor added to the top unit opening might make removing clothes more difficult.

• Sure you could put a pedestal under the lower machine. It would make the upper machine (presumably the dryer) to be very high though. The washer would be at the normal height with a pedestal. If one is very, very tall this might be an okay idea.
