Great question! We recommend running a tub clean cycle once a month, or more often under heavy use conditions or if odor is present. After the tub clean cycle has ended we recommend leaving the drawer open to allow the tub interior to dry completely before closing. At the very least I do recommend leaving the drawer and lid open overnight after any routine maintenance, so that by the morning the interior will be dry, and you can keep the drawer and lid closed during the peak active times in your household. If you are going on vacation, and when you know that the sidekick and washer will not be used for several days, it is a best practice to leave the drawer and lid open to keep the interior nice and dry in your absence. ^Jennifer
