It doesn't look like you would need an adapter. The Mac Mini (I'm assuming you have the newer one with the M1 chip) has an HDMI out port. This monitor has an HDMI port as well. Should just be able to run a high speed HDMI cable. I don't have any personal experience regarding your question though. Too bad LG couldn't give you a straight answer, all large companies seem to be vague with answers these days.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’m not answering my own question. This response from LG is ridiculous. I went to their Twitter site, and all I see are complaints from other people who purchased LG products. I’m now thinking of returning the monitor as soon as it arrives. I wish they had answered the question before I finalized my order. My question could not have been any more simple. The question was “Do I need an adapter to connect my Mac mini?” How freaking difficult would it be to give me a yes or no response? And, if the answer is “yes,” let me know which adapter works best. I spent a half hour reading unhappy people’s issues with LG. Pathetic.
