Yes, I am using it with a mac book pro. Make sure to get the appropriate adaptor from HDMI to Thunderbolt.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do not see why not. I use mine exclusively for a Mac Mini that uses the micro display port as well. The newer the MacBook Air the greater the chance of getting to utilize the greater than HD display on the monitor.

It goes to sleep when the computer goes to sleep and wakes up when the laptop wakes up. It recognizes the screen by the proper model and make. Great purchase and great addition to my MacBook Air.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I cannot imagine why it would not. However, I must say that I am by no means qualified to state one way or the other. It is a monitor like all other monitors except that it has a four-way split screen, is more wide than high. I chose this one initially because of the location of the mounting mechanism in the back. I purchased an adjustable height desk, and the mounting mechanism had a lot to do with how high the monitor would be when the desk was in a standing position. BUT in a few short weeks I have come to enjoy this monitor like no other before it.
