I have a 13 inch Mac Pro 2015 edition and works well. I think these monitors are programed to adjust to right size but you can also do it on your setting of the computer to your liking. When I purchased this monitor and plugged it in for the first time it just did it on it's own and filled the screen, really great display. It gives a lot more view of your workspace and great for multitasking. I say "YES" it should, no reason why it should not fill the display. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use with a Mac Mini (late 2014) and my Windows (work) laptop... the monitor works great. I wasn't sure I would like the wide format, but I do. I can put two windows side by side, and have plenty of screen real estate. I use the display port for my Mac and the HDMI port for my PC... both fill the screen, and gives me much more room horizontally for viewing more stuff in iTunes or Safari, or huge spreadsheets in Excel. I was initially frustrated because the PC wasn't working, but later learned it was because of the HDMI cable (I tried just using the one I already had). If you use the one included with the monitor, it worked great--so, it must have been a compatibility issue with the older HDMI cable. I had to buy a DisplayPort cable to connect to my mini display port (thunderbolt). Finally, I had problems switch between the Mac and PC (selecting the input) at first... The monitor kept going to sleep because it wasn't recognizing my Mac or PC. I read online to just unplug the monitor and turn off the computer(s) and then replug and power on... Since then, no issues.
