Only bottom. Depends on the size of tray, but not usually.

The Upper Oven is a conventional bake oven and does not have the convection feature. Regarding baking capacity, the dimensions of the Upper Oven (24 13/16" W x 10 13/16" H x 19 13/16" D) are designed to accommodate two trays of standard-sized cookies side-by-side on the same rack, or you can use two separate racks for baking.
