QuestionI have a frame in my kitchen where the refrigerator is going to be and it has 35" 3/8 width and 24" depth, do you think the width is too big or is just perfect since they also recommend to leave some inches for air flow

- Answer The LFCS22520S has the following dimensions: Depth with Handles 35 1/2", Height to Top of Door Hinge 68 1/2", Width 29 3/4". Having a 35" width provides plenty of room for airflow and should be great. ^CP

QuestionI bought this fridge recently. The French Doors do not close automatically. I have to give it a push to close. Otherwise, the open door alarm sounds. Does the Automatic Closing Hinge feature work on this model? I have had 2 service calls for this.

- Answer The refrigerator doors and freezer drawers close automatically with a slight push. (The door only closes automatically when it is open at an angle less than 30°.) ^CP

QuestionI've been saving for months so I can pay cash for this fridge. It's been $999.99 forever. This paycheck, I hit the mark; only to find the price is now $1699.99. There was no indication that the $999.99 was a sale price previously. What happened?

- Answer I did the same thing but waited again and it did go on sale for that price again. I would save another $400- $600 more and buy one that's worth it. Sent this one back, was not happy with it.

QuestionHow many amps does this unit use? I previously asked this questions and it was not answered. I currently have an older frig which works fine in my grounded outlet. I need to know if this unit will draw much more power to determine outlet sufficiency.

- Answer The refrigerator should always be plugged into its own individual properly grounded electrical outlet rated for 115/127 V~ 60 Hz, AC only, and fused at 15 or 20 A. This provides the best performance and also prevents overloading house wiring circuits which could cause a fire hazard from overheated wires. QuestionThe freezer drawer (with ice bin) only slides out part-way. To fully extend, I need to lift the drawer over a notch. I then need to lift again over the notch to slide it back. Is this correct? It seems the drawer should slide fully out and back, smoothly.

- Answer Hi HN. You are correct. That does not sound correct that the freezer drawer for the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 21.8 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator, Model # LFCS22520S is not gliding back and forth smoothly. Just to be clear, when you say the "freezer drawer (with ice bin)", are you referring to the Pullout Drawer? Is this issue that you are describing happening while theere are items stored in the drawer? Try taking out all items in the drawer then see if you still encounter the same issue while the drawer is empty. If so, check to see if they is anything stuck on the railing that might be causing that issue. If not, then the drawer may need to be replaced...^IFV

- Answer The only difference I can find is that the shelves in the more expensive one are split shelves, so you have more options to maximize space. It also has the butter holder on the door (Is that really important?)
