Q: QuestionThe customer reviews of prior model (LWC3063ST) had complaints that the microwave required the operator to hit cancel button to stop vs simply opening the door. Also could not hit number to quick start for X minutes. Does the WCEP6427F fix these issues?

• A:Answer Hi, Jerry! The cancel button will have to be pressed in order to stop the operation of the WCEP6427F; we'd strongly recommend against running the unit with the door open! The control panel doesn't have a quick start feature that can be set to X minutes, but there is a +30 mode that functions the same way. ^Ian

The LG WCEP6427F model, like many combination ovens, features a cooling fan that may run after the microwave cycle has finished. This is a normal operation designed to protect the internal components and is not a defect. The fan helps to dissipate heat from the magnetron and other electronics. Q: QuestionCan I use this oven in Jamaica? I plan to ship it. The only difference is we use 60hrz and they work in 50hrz. Does this matter with the oven microwave combo?

In the US., the LG 30" Smart Built-In Electric Convection Combination Wall Oven with Microwave and Steam Sous Vide - Printproof™ Stainless Steel, Model # WCEP6427F, must be electrically grounded in accordance with local codes or, in their absence, with the National Electrical Code ANSI/NFPA No.70- latest edition. It requires a single-phase, 3 wire, A.C 120/208 V or 120/240 V 60 Hz electrical system, and has a power consumption of 7.8 kW at 240 V so a 50 A protection circuit, and a 10 AWG wire gauge is recommended. The deviations between 50 and 60 Hertz are small and may not matter, but you would best advised to consult a qualified electrician...^Ivan.
