Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. He is your answer. It pretty simple do it my way and you won’t have to empty the lower pan ever again. The issue is. Where can you let the water out. 1st empty the lower pan. W a cookie pan. Replace the cap carefully. When you use the upper to drain water runs directly to it and bypass the lower pan. Ok, you must buy a mini self contained “SUMP PUMP WITH FLOAT” cost 40 bucks Very quiet w/20 feet of tubing. U ca drill a hole in the window exaust panel. Also it will push the water up a little so you can reach a window GOOD LUCK
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Well - there appears to be two drain locations. I initially thought that it had to be drained only from the lower port every two weeks. I woke up this morning to a wet floor. It appears on a second reading of the owners manual that they want a drain hose connected to the other drain going to a bucket. Since it’s in our bedroom, I’m not wild about having a bucket. So after the floor dries, I’m going to try again making sure the top drain location is closed.
