Not directly through the system. You can of course use headphones through any device equipped with a headphone jack that you plug into the aux inputs on the back; but the lack of a headphone jack would be a problem for listening to the tuner or cd functions built into the system itself. I think the main idea for this system is to use it when you want to play music fairly loud--especially music that contains deep bass. The included speakers really are good at that, and especially impressive given their small size. (One observation: I have a similar Insignia system--no longer available--that also lacked a headphone jack. It is at least as accurate in sound reproduction but doesn't pack quite the bass or loudness capability of this unit. When I bought that one, I thought it was the best deal around for a relatively inexpensive shelf stereo system with built-in cd player.)
