“Does this tv permanently disconnect from WIFI when turned off?”

• Well, maybe not "permanently" but every time the TV is turned off, then turned on, the wifi is disconnected. Sometimes it reconnects automatically, and usually it reconnects when the TV is briefly unplugged then replugged. That is ridiculous for a smart TV.

• Yes, turning the TV off means there is no power going to the unit. Our TV's do not support a stand-by mode. ^CP
