Hi Bobbylee. Using your cable remote to control the LG 32 inch Class 720p HD TV (31.5'' Diag), Model # 32LM505BBUA will depend on what type of remote your cable service provider issued you. If it is a remote control that can be programmed to control the TV, they will have instructions for how to set it up. You will need to call your cable company's Customer Service for advice on how to set it up to control the TV. It might be easier for then to send an agent out to set it up for you...^IFV
