Yes, the Trumotion feature can be turned off. For information on how to do that please check out the User Guide under category "Tour List of Settings" followed by "Picture" then "Picture Options" then "TruMotion" and select "Off". http://www.lg.com/us/support-product/lg-32LJ550B#manuals ^CP
