Its goes to sleep mode when connected to laptop
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello there, Tommy. We understand your inquiry about the 32″ VA Curved FHD 100 Hz AMD FreeSync Monitor (Model 32MR50C-B.AUSQ) and its sleep mode capabilities. This monitor supports standard “sleep” or power-save behavior via your computer’s settings (DPMS compliance). When your PC or device signals the monitor to enter sleep, the display will turn off and draw just 0.29 watts in Power Saving/Off mode. There isn’t a dedicated “sleep timer” built into the monitor’s on-screen menu, so you’ll use your computer’s power settings to manage idle time. Troubleshooting Step: On Windows, press Windows + I → System > Power & sleep → under Screen, choose how many minutes of inactivity before the display turns off. If you’re using macOS, go to System Preferences > Energy Saver (or Battery on newer macOS versions) and set Turn display off after to your preferred time. Confirm the monitor enters Power Saving mode by looking for a dimmed power LED when idle. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-32-va-curved-fhd-100hz-amd-freesync-monitor-hdmi-black/6615277.p?skuId=6615277 If you have any questions configuring your computer’s power settings or want to explore other energy-saving options, please send us a private message on social media @LGUSSupport, and our team will be more than happy to assist you further. We appreciate your patience and look forward to helping you get the best experience from your new LG monitor! —Renzo
