A:AnswerI contacted LG support with Facebook as suggested. It was a very slow conversation but in the end they scheduled a technician to look at the problem. He needed to drill four holes in the bottom of the door so the hinge bracket could be moved to the other side. It was a lot of trouble to go through, but now my door opens correctly now.
A:AnswerI think that note is specifically for units with water dispensers. I guess if you were really worried about it you could toss the first bucket of ice produced after changing the filter-?
A:AnswerHello David. The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 26 Cu. Ft. Bottom-Freezer Refrigerator with Ice Maker - PrintProof™ Stainless Steel, Model # LRDCS2603S features two two front leveling legs and two small wheels in the rear. Make sure that the leveling legs are sitting squarely on the floor so the refrigerator does not move when opening the doors. What makes your doors hard to open is due to air inside the refrigerator or freezer "shrinking" as it gets cold. When the door is opened, cold air flows out of the refrigerator, and warm, humid air can flow in. When the door is closed, the warm air mixing with the cold air can create a vacuum which makes opening the door difficult. If the door is closed quickly or slammed shut, air is forced out and it may take several minutes for the vacuum that has been created inside the refrigerator to be released, after which the doors can be opened normally once the air equalizes. This is normal and is more likely to occur during the warmer, more humid times of the year. You can try rubbing paraffin wax or petroleum jelly along the edges of the entire gasket. Paraffin wax is used for canning and is safe for use around food...^IFV
A:AnswerYes, in some way or another. There are a total of 4 shelves for the door. The lowest shelf position in the door must to be used for the shallow and short shelf, because a larger shelf would hit the lowest drawer in the refrigerator. The two middle, larger door shelves can be positioned in two different slots for each shelf, a higher or lower slot. These 3 shelves can also simply be removed. The top most shelves - 2 of them - are fixed, but they can flip up to make room for very tall items in the shelf below.
A:AnswerYes the ice tray is removable. And if you want you can just use it to store freezer stuff. We have also not connected the fridge to the water outlet so just turned off the ice maker button inside the freezer & use the ice tray to compartmentalize freezer stuff.

A:AnswerThank you for your interest in the LG Refrigerator (LRDCS2603S) model. If your LG LRDCS2603S fridge and freezer are not working or not getting cold, try these steps to troubleshoot:
1. Check the power: Make sure the refrigerator is plugged into a working outlet. If the plug is hard to reach, switch off the circuit breaker for 5 minutes and then turn it back on. This can reset the refrigerator and start the cooling cycle.
2. Temperature settings: Verify that the temperature settings are correct. The recommended temperature for the refrigerator is 37 degrees and for the freezer is 0 degrees. Adjust the settings if needed.
3. Airflow and space: Ensure there is enough space between the refrigerator and the wall for proper airflow. Blocked vents or inadequate airflow can affect cooling performance.
4. Reset the refrigerator: For some LG models, opening the right door and pressing and holding the REFRIGERATOR AND ICE PLUS buttons can reset the motherboard and cycle the fridge.

A:AnswerHi, The recommended temperature settings are 37° Fahrenheit for the refrigerator, and 0° Fahrenheit for the freezer. If additional cooling is required, lower the temperature a few degrees. Unplug the refrigerator or turn off the circuit breaker for at least 10 seconds. ^Vanessa
A:AnswerIf you are talking about the plastic plug for the door front where the handle attaches then you should go to an online appliance store such as appliance pros and order one and do it right. Or for any other screw as well. Just get the model number from inside refrigerator.
