“I’m having problems with the ice makers not making ice since it was delivered Monday. The water supply seems good. Should the filter be left out or a dummy plug put in for the ice makers to get enough flow?”

I was told by a salesperson from Spencers that leaving out the filter if you have RO system will improve flow and craft ice quality.

The refrigerator has a built-in water filter bypass so it will still operate with or without a water filter installed. When the refrigerator was installed, was the water pressure checked? The water pressure for this refrigerator should be between 20 - 120 psi (138 - 827 kPa). Refrigerator ice makers require consistent water pressure, typically between 20-120 psi, to function properly. Low pressure (under 20 psi) causes slow production, small or hollow ice cubes, and jams. High pressure can cause splashing, leaks, and ice buildup.
