“My dryer works great, but there is never any water in the collection tank, nor do I see any leaks. I've done about three loads of laundry so far with nicely dried clothes, but no water collected. Is this normal? If not, what could the issue be?”

All depend what I am drying, towels release full tank of water as well as the bed sheets. I normally dry small loads at a time but always collect good amount. They probably connected the hose the goes directly to the drainage and you don’t have to drain the tank. Which I regret not doing. The tank get hot with the water collected. Don’t seem to be any other logical explanation.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.During installation there is an option to pump the water out and into the same drain as the washer. When you install it that way you disconnect the hose that fills the collection tank. Your installer must have done that.
