No, there's no difference in the amount of lint. This dryer has a well-made lint trap. I don't know about the differences between ventless dryers.

Please try again later.Electric Dryers and Gas dryers that require ducting to vent to the outside both have lint filter for capturing any lint that is pulled off your clothes in the drying process and neither will release more lint into the air than the other. If either dryer is releaseing lint into the environment, you will need to check to ensure that the ducing is securelt attached. Condenser Dryers like the LG 4.2 Cu. Ft. 14-Cycle Compact Electric Dryer - White, Model # DLEC888W and Heat Pump Dryers are ventless so the lint is typically expelled with the condensing water...^IFV
