Is there tension in the door, does it close slow? null

It's a reqular washer top and you have to lower the lid to close. It just has glass so you can see your clothes. Dropping lid migjt break glass.

Yes it does have a slow closing lid. I Was curious when I saw the question because I haven't paid much attention. I did try it several times though and there's definitely no slamming its nice and slow.

It has really nice shocks like a back glass on an suv. I’ve had this in a rental for a year and it is great.
