• I have only had this washer for a few weeks (love it), so I haven't experienced any musty smell. However, in reading the manual, LG suggests that you run a clean cycle (special selection on machine) once a month with bleach. I plan on doing that on the first of every month. I assume that will take care of any problems of mustiness. Time will tell.
