“I've heard that top loader HE washers tangle the clothes. Has this been the experience of anyone using this machine. Are front loaders any better?”

• I have a high capacity Whirlpool Cabrio washer without an agitator. It is absolutely horrible about tangling clothes. The worst is long sleeve T-shirts and yoga pants. I have tried everything to solve this problem and nothing works.

• Yes! It’s taking me a while to figure out how to use the washing machine. You HAVE to use the “water plus” feature or your clothes don’t get completely soiled, and I can’t figure out why my clothes are getting all tangled and twisted. Honestly, it’s like solving a maze sometimes to get them out of the washer. Other than that it’s great.

• This unit uses an impeller instead of an agitator to reduce the tangling which you are describing. ^CP
