“Even w/monthly tub cleaning I get a musty smell with lid open between loads. Also getting brown flakes like pencil shavings. That usually happens if washer isn’t used for a few days or so. Takes several cycles of cleaning/rinsing to get rid of them, help!”

If a musty smell already exists, run the Tub Clean cycle once a week for 3 consecutive weeks. If this doesn't resolve the issue you are experiencing, our support team would be happy to help.
