• We have a medium/med-heavy comforter that fits in the washer with room to spare. Unless yours is made from mammoth fur or something, you should be more than fine.

• We don't have a king size bed so I can't say for sure, but my when daughter washed her queen-sized comforter it took a while - the washer went out-of-balance during the cycle - it automatically detects this and adds water back in to rebalance itself (which worked fine), but that made the spin cycle take a long time...

• I believe so. The washer does not have a tall agitator and the capacity is quite large, so bulkier items should fit without a problem.
