“Do these units have leak or flood protection, like auto shut off or something? I see LG recommends no drip/drain pan. I have one currently but it wont be deep enough as the new LG is over 3-" deep”

sorry i wasnt clear. I am installing the LGs in 2 weeks. i just ask about pans because my OLD W/D has a drain pan. So i am curious provisionally about leak protection on the LGs
