    • Answer Only if you have them install it for you. I think if you had an electric unit prior and your own basic tools, you should be fine to install. Just check the power outlets and stuff to be certain. They can also tell you what it requires.

    • Answer I hope this helps, but I suggest you look at the dimensions offered on the Best Buy website. I needed precise measurements for a custom cabinet being built for my WashTower as part of my laundry room remodel. I remember a diagram showing all angles of the WashTower with measurements. I gave this diagram to my contractor and the cabinet is a perfect fit. Best wishes! I hope the size works for you because the WashTower is absolutely great!

    • Answer You can always purchase a longer drain hose. That is separate to the unit. Though it may come with installation, it’s not a hard component and you could totally buy the unit and just purchase a longer hose.

  • QuestionI know they are stacked, but is the dryer deeper than the washer or are they the same depth? My unit now is close in depth. The depth, if the same, will not work for my closet. It will work only if the washer is not as, front to back deep, as the dryer.

    • Answer Yes. It’s most commonly use as not everyone has a perfect set up. It was set up for my old dryer which was on the ground. I’m using Semi-Rigid Silver Flexible Duct connector.

The washer hookup (water supply) should be connected to the washer side of the unit. The dryer hookup (venting, power) should be connected to the dryer side of the unit. This distance assumes a straight, unobstructed vent path. If the vent includes elbows or turns, the total allowable length will be reduced. Here’s a quick guideline: 90° elbows reduce the allowable length by 6-8 feet. 45° elbows reduce the length by about 3 feet. To ensure optimal performance and safety, always use rigid or semi-rigid venting material and follow LG's specific venting recommendations in the installation manual.
