“The closet area where I will stack the washer & dryer is only 32.5" deep with door closed. If I stack up the matching dryer, will the hose get in the way? In other words, can the dryer hose vent off the side of the dryer?”

The dryer vent is in the back and connected with a hard bracket. My washer and dryer are placed 8" from the wall and extend out a total of 37 inches (front of door). Perhaps a few inches more closer to the wall but the dryer hose cannot be bent. 32.5" might not work.

To ensure sufficient clearance for water inlet hoses, drain hose and airflow, allow minimum clearances of at least 1 inch (2.5 cm) at the sides and 4 inches (10 cm) behind the washer. Be sure to allow for wall, door, or floor moldings that may increase the required clearances. ^Daphane
