“Will this washer fit on LG pedistal WDP3W? I currently have a WM2301HW washer and it needs to be replaced. I would like not to have to replace pedistal also.”

I was just faced with the same situation. My old LG washer died, and when I ordered a new one, I didn't order a base because I thought the new one would fit on the old base. The delivery men let me know that this was not the case. I guess a few changes have been made in the design since I bought the old one eleven years ago. So now I am waiting for them to deliver a new base for my new washer. Bummer.

Large Capacity Front Load Washer with Dual LED Display, Model # WM2301HW has the same width as the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 4.5 Cu. Ft. 8-Cycle High-Efficiency Front-Loading Washer with 6Motion™ Technology - White, Model # WM3400CW, but it has a depth of 29 3/4" whereas the WM3400CW has a depth of 30 1/4". The current 27" LG Laundry Pedestal, Model # WDP4W that is compatible with the WM3400CW has a depth of 30 3/4" but your pedestal, the WDP3W has a depth of 28 2/5" so it appears it will not work with the WM3400CW. What will determine whether your pedestal will work with the washer or not is how far apart the feet are placed because the measurements for the depths we mentioned are for the cabinets. Please contact our Support Center (800) 243-0000 to inquire if the feet for the WM3400CW will align with the slots on the WDP3W that accommodate the washer's feet...^IFV
