While you could get your appliance installed by any licensed contractor of your choosing, Best Buy does offer delivery and installation services. When choosing Best Buy, your appliance will be delivered or installed by either Geek Squad or one of their authorized third-party contractors. Best Buy requires their third-party contractors to conduct a background check on any person they hire to enter your home. Some buildings require you to have a Certificate of Insurance printed out before your delivery. Best Buy will deliver, install, and make sure your new washing machine is working. They'll level your washer, plug it in and attach the hoses. For a front-load washing machine, they'll place it on a compatible pedestal. They'll also remove all packaging from your home. If haul-away is purchased, they will haul away your existing washing machine. To purchase washing machine installation and schedule this service, select Delivery + Professional Installation during checkout. Stacking your washer and dryer is included with installation only if your existing dryer is the same size as your new washer and you have purchased the correct stacking kit.
