Baking Soda and White Vinegar are not listed as recommended cleaning agents for cleaning the tub in the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 4.5 Cu. Ft. 8-Cycle High-Efficiency Front-Loading Washer with 6Motion Technology - White, Model # WM3400CW so we cannot advise you on using them with the washer. There are a number of people online that use baking soda for cleaning their appliances and recommend them, but if you want to use them, it is at your discretion. We can only recommend cleaning the detergent cup and detergent dispenser drawer with warm water and use a soft brush to remove residue. The owner's manual advises to use water only when cleaning the drawer and inserts. You should use a descaler or tub cleaner during the Tub Clean cycle, or a lime scale cleaner, liquid Chlorine bleach, powdered cleaner or cleaning tablets that you can follow the manufacturer's instructions for on their usage...^IFV
