- Answer The ENERGY STAR® Most Efficient/ENERGY STAR® Certified LG 4.5 cu. Ft. Ultra Large Capacity Front Load Washer - White, Model # WM4000HWA, and its matching Electric Dryer, Model # DLEX4000W, and matching Gas Dryer, Model # DLGX4001W have a width of 27". The washer has a depth of 30 1/4", but the dryers have a depth of 30 1/8" so that difference of 1/8" is not relevant. The height for either dryer when it is stacked on the washer will be the combined height for the washer and either dryer and the stacking kit required to stack them does not add anything to the height so since the washer and the dryers have a height of 39", the total height for when they are stacked will be 78"...^Ivan.

QuestionHELP! I have had this washer for a week and everything comes out HOT! It doesn't matter what cycle I choose. the last cycle I selected was delicates, cold water wash, tap water, and the clothes still came out hot. Did I get a dud?

- Answer After a little online research at the LG website I tested and confirmed the washing machine was installed incorrectly by Best Buy. They switched the hot water and cold water lines. Several items of clothing were ruined due to their mistake. My first load was on tap water (cold) but the water was extra hot and dye bled onto lighter colored clothing. I am very disappointed in the installation by Best Buy. I am hoping the washing machine will be a winner now that it is installed correctly.

QuestionDoes this model dryer with the steam function include both a Y connecter for water intake and a hose to lead from the water source and Y connector to the dryer itself? If not, why not? - since the steam function needs both parts to function.

- Answer It does come with a plastic y connector, but no hoses. I just ended up buying a steam kit from Amazon that came with 2 hoses and another y connector.

QuestionWhat size washer drain pan should be used under this machine?

- Answer LG does not recommend the use of a drain pan. If one must be used, take extra care to follow the instructions provided with the drip pan and make sure the leveling feet are adjusted for firm and even contact with the pan. Use of drip pans and failure to properly level the machine may result in increased vibration and noise during operation. ^Daphane

- Answer There is a variant of the dryer that supports 240V. The variant that shows 120V uses natural gas or propane as the source of heat. The 120V connection is used to power the computer, spin the drum, etc.

- Answer I just purchased the WM4000HWA from Best Buy and thought it would also have the rose gold knob but it does NOT. It has a brushed nickel color. I'm happy about this as I didn't care to get the rose gold color.

QuestionI noticed that if I get it delivered and installed they charge you for a 6' power cord that is sold separately. So this unit will not include power cord if I purchase it and don't pay the $60 delivery and install fee?

- Answer The washer comes with a power cord. If you purchase an electric dryer you will need to purchase the power cord separately. Gas dryers come with power cords included.

QuestionOrdered this W/D set w/pedestals. Would prefer to keep my old pedestals as they are larger. The W/D I am replacing is Whirlpool Duet w/ 15.5" pedestals. Whirlpool 27" wide x 31 1/2" deep and LG is 27" wide and 30 1/8" deep. Can I use my old pedestals?

- Answer Its the lg software suite. It sends messages to other lg tv's when done and what cycle. Its also supposed to allow for monitoring for potential issues and preventative maintenance warning. It talks to lg tv's is the basic premise.
