That happens to me when I put too much into the machine, or, select too short of a spin cycle.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello there, Marie! Thank you for reaching out with your question about your LG WM4000HWA Front Load Washer. If your clothes are still feeling wet after completing a wash cycle, it might be due to one of the following reasons: Spin Speed Setting: Check if the spin speed is set to "Extra High" or "High". If the spin speed is too low, it may not fully extract water from your clothes. You can adjust the spin speed by selecting a higher setting, depending on the fabric type. Overloaded Washer: If the washer is too full, it may not be able to properly extract water during the spin cycle. Try washing smaller loads to ensure your clothes have enough room to move freely. Clogged Drain Pump or Filter: Make sure that the drain pump filter and the hose are clear of any obstructions. A clogged filter can reduce the efficiency of the spin cycle, leaving clothes wet. Imbalanced Load: If the load is not evenly distributed in the drum, it could cause the washer to stop spinning at full speed. Try redistributing the clothes evenly around the drum before running the cycle. Water Supply or Drain Issues: Ensure that the water supply is adequate and that the washer is draining properly. Check for any issues with the drain hose or the water pressure. https://www.lg.com/us/washers-dryers/lg-wm4000hwa-front-load-washer#pdp_specs If you've tried these steps and the issue persists, we recommend reaching out to LG ThinQ® Smart Technology for diagnostic support via the app or contacting us directly at @LGUSSupport on social media for further troubleshooting assistance.
