You can Delay Wash once the desired cycle is selected to allow a soak period. The wash can be delayed 1-19 hours by pressing the Delay Wash button. Once the time is set press, the Start/Pause button to start the delay time. ^Daphane

Yes, pressing the “add clothes” button pauses the cycle at any time.
