The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG - 4.5 Cu. Ft. 14-Cycle Front-Loading Washer with Wi-fi, Steam and TurboWash™ 360 Technology - White, Model # WM3900HWA does not have a button for turning the Wi-Fi signal On/Off on the washing machine nor on the dryer. To connect either unit to your Wi-Fi network, you need to download and install the LG SmartThinQ application on your smartphone that allows you to communicate with the appliance using your smartphone. You would then need to register the washer or dryer with the app. then connect the appliances to your Wi-Fi network. As with your smartphone or computer that you have connected to your Wi-Fi network, the Wi-Fi is always on. Most routers are designed to be left on at all times. You can turn the router off when no one needs to use the Wi-Fi network. It just poses an inconvenience to users who want immediate access to the Internet, because they will have to wait a few minutes for the router to re-establish a connection with the modem and start transmitting the Wi-Fi signal...^IFV
