“Can the water hose connection be used with a 90 degree elbow or a straight one?”

• The guys that did the hookup were adamant that the hose be a straiight straight shot to the water connection against the wall. The machine sticks out into the room an inch plus more than the stacked washer & dryer it replaced. Also the interior of the washer is very large, at least 3 times the size of the one it replaced. Because of this I do far fewer loads of wash.
