“Can the Sidekick Pedestal washer be placed on top of the main washer instead of under it? We don't need the storage pedestal under the dryer but would like the Sidekick washer. Would be more aesthetic to have main washer and dryer at the same height.”

• The sidekick is designed for installation under the washer, with indentations and cleats on the top to match the washer's feet. There would be no way to hold the sidekick in place if it were on top. The pedestal, while pricey, comes in surprisingly handy for storing laundry aids.

• I have a pedestal under my washer but not under my dryer and it works fine. I like the pedestal under the washer for the storage and for comfort of getting in and out of the washer.
