A:AnswerIt will depend on many variables so that is hard to answer.
I can tell you for the love of all this is good, do NOT choose "Heavy" soil on the Normal cycle. I had a full load and the manual said to change the soil to Heavy and add and extra rinse. The display will only show time AFTER it calibrates to the load size, this is one thing I do dislike about this washer. TWO HOURS AND TWENTY MINUTES. If your clothes are that dirty, I'd throw them away before waiting for that long for a load. This was my first load, so I will be adjusting differently next time. I believe most front loaders can get a large load done in an hour or so once you get them figured out (without using speed wash or the equivalent). I will keep adding extra rinse as it doesn't add much time at all; I like to make sure I add enough soap, I put in no more than two Tbsp powdered for a full load of mixed items - and I want to make sure to get the soap out of the clothes.
A:AnswerThe ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG - 4.5 Cu. Ft. 14-Cycle Front-Loading Washer with Wi-fi, Steam and TurboWash™ 360 Technology - White, Model # WM3900HWA does not have a button for turning the Wi-Fi signal On/Off on the washing machine nor on the dryer. To connect either unit to your Wi-Fi network, you need to download and install the LG SmartThinQ application on your smartphone that allows you to communicate with the appliance using your smartphone. You would then need to register the washer or dryer with the app. then connect the appliances to your Wi-Fi network. As with your smartphone or computer that you have connected to your Wi-Fi network, the Wi-Fi is always on. Most routers are designed to be left on at all times. You can turn the router off when no one needs to use the Wi-Fi network. It just poses an inconvenience to users who want immediate access to the Internet, because they will have to wait a few minutes for the router to re-establish a connection with the modem and start transmitting the Wi-Fi signal...^IFV

A:AnswerThis washer does NOT open the door automatically. The door does lock during all cycles and unlocks at the end of cycle. This washer does have a cleaning cycle to kill bacteria, but we've not used it yet.
Turbo cycle appears to shuffle (spin and counter spin) the cloths more during the wash cycle. I couldn't tell if cloths come out cleaner. They seem very clean to me.
This washer replaced our 10 year old whirlpool front loader. I much prefer this washer and am very pleased with it. We've owned this washer for about a month.
My wife did the research (She's a retired English professor and knows all lot about reteaching) and picked this one. She is very pleased with it as well.

A:AnswerThe guys that did the hookup were adamant that the hose be a straiight straight shot to the water connection against the wall. The machine sticks out into the room an inch plus more than the stacked washer & dryer it replaced. Also the interior of the washer is very large, at least 3 times the size of the one it replaced. Because of this I do far fewer loads of wash.
A:AnswerWhile a king comforter may fit, there are concerns with there being too much fluff or embellishments or the comforter causing the unit to become unbalanced. We cannot guarantee performance due to this. ^CP
A:AnswerI haven't used too many different cycles yet, but the Normal cycle (with Turbowash) is about 30 minutes. The Heavy duty cycle with the 4th highest of five soil options selected ran a whopping 1:30.
