• There is not an option listed in the Owner's Manual to remove the agitator. Doing so may void your warranty. Agitators are an effective way to launder clothes, they may cause damage to clothes in the form of tears and rips. It's really a matter of personal preference. ^Daphane

• I really wouldn’t suggest you try to take out the agitator as that is what helps to make your clothes clean.
