“Specs on the inputs beyond 2 hdmi are confusing. One line says component inputs: 0, another line, "video inputs" lists other inputs as hdmi, component, composite. Any idea what's really going on here?”

Yes, it is very confusing on how Best Buy describes the specifications. Typically I end up going to the vendor site, since BB does a poor job on specs. But here is your answer. The there a combo composite/component input in addition to the two HDMI ports. I've attached a photo with the details of the connection.
