Television Broadcasts and cable programming are only broadcast in 720p or 1080i and the TV automatically upconverts those signals. The only time you get a 2160p signal is when you stream 4K content from streaming services like NetFlix, Amazon Prime etc., when they are streamed at that resolution or if you are playing 4K content from a 4K Blu-ray Player...^IFV
