The unit arrived all one piece, except for the window panels which needed to be attached to the chassis. If you need a new one for whatever reason, looks to me like you'd have to replace the entire A/C, chassis included. It does look like there are service screws on each side, though. I assume the chassis can be removed *somewhat easily* for repairs so a service person can get to the parts on the inside. But it doesn't look like this is meant for the end consumer (either for storage or to send the unit back for repair).
