Can I use a firestick for streaming null

Yes, though a lot of the apps are already on the LG homepage; I tried downloading some new ones, some not a problem, some they wanted me to download the LG app to my phone for verification for. I've also noticed on some apps, like Netflix, sometimes thru LG homepage direct it doesn't work as well as if I just change the input and go over to my firestick
