As indicated in the headers, the LG 48" Class C5 Series OLED evo AI 4K UHD Smart webOS TV (2025), Model # OLED48C5PUA is a 2025 model and the LG 48" Class C4 Series OLED evo 4K UHD Smart webOS TV (2024), Model # OLED48C4PUA is a 2024 model. The C4 Series runs on our 2024 LG webOS 24 TV Operating System and employs our 2024 α9 AI Processor Gen7. The C5 series runs on our 2025 webOS 25 TV Operating System, and employs our 2025 α9 AI Processor 4K Gen8. AI Sound for the C5 series is α9 AI Sound Pro (Virtual 11.1.2 Up-Mix) and for the C4 series it is α9 AI Sound Pro (Virtual 9.1.2 Up-Mix). Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Many YouTubers provide answers to this very question. I've never owned a C4 but I've heard the C5 (which I bought), is noticeably brighter. C5 also has a newer processor. Did a Google search about the processor which says it upscales non-4K content to 4K better and uses AI to enhance image quality. If you can find an open box deal on a C4 in good condition, probably worth saving like $500 dollars or more.
