• Does anyone know if the answer of 36 inches is accurate? Looking at the picture it doesn't look the feet are that far from the edges. So a safer guess would be the feet are 39-40 inches apart...

• No it will not fit on a 36 inch stand, you need at least a 50 inch stand.
