How does this remote work with cable remote. null

I use my Directv remote to control the most basic functions of the tv (on/off, vol). I use the tv's remote to access the apps, web browser,etc. Bought a logitech wireless touchpad keyboard to use with the web browser and other apps. Works great!

I have AT & T as my cable provider & I use their remote with my tv.
