“The water temp doesn't go past 76 F when set to hot (our hot water line is measured at 125 F). The LG service man said it is designed that way and there is nothing he could do. Is there any way to increase the water temp to higher temps?”

I also have this problem that the water does not get hot. I have tried everything to get a hot water wash for whites, but have had no luck. I would not recommend this machine due to that problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I also have this problem, the hot settings mixes cold for some reason, lg support told us to replace the hoses with their recommended type, but i doubt that will fix it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t think that’s true that it’s designed that way. Mine does go much higher than 76 F. I have only had mine a short while and the water that comes out in hot is running around 108 F. I do have a high capacity commercial on demand water heater that is installed only 6 ft from that hot water line. I don’t know if that would make a difference but if it’s true it’s designed to be no hitter than 76, then mine is faulty because it runs hotter.
