Hello, Rob. The washer for the ENERGY STAR® Certified LG Single Unit Front Load LG WashTower™ with Center Control® 5.0 cu. Ft. Washer & 7.4 cu. Ft. Electric Dryer, Model # WKEX300HBA is equipped with a 3-prong power cord and plug, but as with standalone electric dryers, a power cord (pigtail) connection between the wall receptacle and the dryer terminal block IS NOT supplied with the dryer. IT must be purchased separately. The dryer's terminal block must be connected to a separate 240 VAC, 60-Hertz, single-phase circuit fused at 30 amperes. (The the circuit must be fused on both sides of the line.) Depending on your local codes and ordinances, or with the latest edition of the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70 in their absence, you can use a 30-amp, 240-volt, 4-wire, or a 30-amp, 240-volt, 3-wire UL-listed power cord with #10 AWG-minimum copper conductor and closed loop or forked terminals with upturned ends. Grounding through the neutral conductor is prohibited for: (1) new branch-circuit installations and (2) areas where local codes prohibit grounding through the neutral conductor. so you must use a 30-amp, 240-volt, 4-wire, UL-listed power cord, as mentioned above...^Ivan.
