Yes, you would need to purchase a dedicated LG side vent kit, such as the 383EEL9001L or 3911EZ9131X models, in order to vent the WKEX300HBA washer/dryer combo unit out the right or left side instead of the back. The dryer door on the LG WKEX300HBA can be reversed, the washer door cannot be reversed and must remain in its original orientation.
