Hi there. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand your concern regarding the maintenance of your WM3470CM and the liquid remaining in the softener dispenser. To assist with the drainage, we recommend cleaning the dispenser drawer to remove any residue that may have accumulated over time. To remove the drawer, simply open it fully and then pull it out while pressing down on the [PUSH] button located in the center of the dispenser assembly. Once the drawer is removed, you can clean it and the various compartments using a soft toothbrush and lukewarm water to ensure all paths are clear. After cleaning, reassemble the parts and slide the drawer back into the unit.
