This washing machine does not need wi-fi to function properly. Although my house has wifi, we did not connect the washer to it. The only reason one would connect the machine to wifi, is if they are connecting it to their cell phone, Once the app is downloaded, users can control certain functions via their phone. I opted not to have it connected to my phone since I prefer to set it manually, and it works just fine!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The unit does not have to be connected to Wi-Fi for full functionality. Without establish Wi-Fi connectivity, you will not be able to use the LG ThinQ app to communicate with the unit from a smartphone. ^Daphane

Having a terrible issue though went up for the detergent you know the he detergent into the dispenser it will not drain down into the washer to wash my clothes how crazy is this anyone ever had this problem?
