“What is the total height if dryer is stacked on top of the washer?”

I know the appliances are 39” each, so one might think 78” total height. But if the dryer sits on top of the washer, do the dryer’s feet come off, thus reducing the height, or does the stacking kit add some other height? I need a precise total height due to a very tight clearance.
